Permitting, Plans, & Training

UNDERGROUND INJECTION CONTROL & AQUIFER PROTECTION PERMITTING

ENCORE® keeps our clients compliant with all manner of permits, from general to site-specific. We excel at doing so by being ahead of regulatory changes. While permitting can vary widely, addressing stormwater drainage, cooling tower blowdown, process water disposal, and much more, ENCORE® is able to handle simple general permits as well as complex individual permit applications with ease. So, naturally, Underground Injection Control and Aquifer Protection Permitting is well within our capabilities. This is just one way we help our clients stay compliant and protect groundwater at their facilities.

SPCC PLAN DEVELOPMENT

A Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC) is required for most businesses within the petroleum industry. Our team of scientists and engineers develops, reviews, and updates SPCC Plans for our clients on a regular basis. In the event of a spill, every detail of these Plans is scrutinized by the EPA, so we don’t leave anything unnoticed when preparing them. Each plan is created to address the specific facility, its operations, and its geographic location. This keeps our clients compliant and well prepared - in advance - to handle a spill should one occur.

NPDES PERMITTING

ENCORE® is an expert when it comes to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program. We manage, plan, and oversee the entire permitting process for our clients for both general and site-specific permits, in accordance with the requirements state, county, and municipal agencies set. As part of NPDES permitting, ENCORE® also manages the design, development, and implementation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPP). ENCORE® keeps our clients’ teams trained and up-to-the-minute on pollution prevention. This satisfies annual employee training requirements and ensures SWPPs can be effectively utilized.
